the floral addiction.....

*top: forever 21; skirt h&m; dirty old boots: naturalizer*

I am wearing a floral skirt I picked up from H&M and finally decided to wear it. I was going to wear some heels but instead threw on my dirty years old suede boots. For years I have been stomping around in these boots..they are so comfy and love how I have just worn these into the ground. I actually have to get the bottom of these boots repaired because they are already getting holes. My hair has gone black and I am not really sure about it right now. I 'm really thinking about bleaching it and going to a very light color brown or even blonde. Last week I also picked up that rose dress everyone was going crazy for so I will probably do a post on it sometime this week......Red or White?

the road was a treadmill and we were on it.....

Calico, is a little known ghost town stuck in the armpit of California, literally in the butthole
of nowhere. But what a pleasant surprise to come across such an interesting place on the map.
While exploring this tiny little ghost town we happened to find people in shops, a restaurant
to the public, and two elderly ladies selling leather goods. It was a temptation I could not
resist and the first thing that came to mind to ask these two elderly women was "are you
ghost's?". Bewildered, the two women had a chuckle and we were off to snap some photos.
Before we got to Calico, we took the turnpike to nowhere, a road called Ivanpah, off the 15.
We saw off in the distance what looked like a little town. Derrick's catlike curiosity with the
question burning on his mind, "what kind of people could possibly live in the Great Mojave
Desert?", fueled us forward. So we drove and drove until we hit this little town called Nipton,
which contained four houses, the Oasis Cafe and a Trading Post. With nothing to trade at the
Trading Post I bought the needle in the haystack the wonderful silver cross shown in my
pictures. Derrick bought rattlesnake eggs.

a room without a view...

*dress: nastygal; skirt: forever 21; jacket: nasty gal; socks: h&m; shoes: stuart weitzman*

This outfit made me happy! It's been a while since I wore this much black and it felt so good to finally throw this outfit on. As much as I like a little color every now and then my heart will always belong to black. I got the studded dress a few months back and it's so gorgeous and fun to play around with other pieces. One of these days I will wear it only as a dress. The shoes are my new loves and they are the most comfortable heels I own. These pictures were taken inside of our hotel room at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas. We had a lovely room but without a view. That did not sit well with me!

Before I end this I would like to thank everyone for the lovely comments on my posts..it puts a smile on my face.

xoxo

............

*dress: f21; skirt: nastygal; socks: american apparel; shoes: jeffrey campbell*

This was our first night in Vegas. I wore this outfit to the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club show at Wasted Space in the Hard Rock Hotel. The band was great but the venue sucked ass. The place was small, filled to the max with smoke and the sound was horrible and I could not really hear the vocals too well. Other than all that the night was still great. From the car ride and being up late the night before I was extremely tired and I think it shows in these pictures. But who cares, my skirt was pretty badass and I love it so much.

Can you spot Derrick?
